10 Mistakes We Made When Choosing and Wearing Bra

Too tightening the clasp and using the same piece for days in a row are some of the most common mistakes

The bra is indispensable in women’s wardrobes, but it is a tricky part: hard to find one with perfect trim, difficult to wash and often difficult to be used with certain types of clothing.

10 Mistakes We Made When Choosing and Wearing Bra

When it comes to buying, many women make mistakes. Freshpair expert Bobbie Smith lists the most common and explains the right way to do it.

  1. Choose a bra by the size of the bulge
The correct thing is to choose by the size of the back band and the straps. The size of the bulge is not standard, but rather related to the size of the strip.
  2. Wear a too small bra
Many women buy small bras, which tighten, and find that the breasts look SML (What does SML mean? Visit AbbreviationFinder). But the correct one would be to buy a bigger one, because they value more the actual size of the breasts.
  3. Too tighten the catch
A bra usually stretches up to 3 inches over the period of use. So there are three different sizes of bracket to button it. Start buttoning on the wider and change when the bra is already looser.
  4. Leave the back strap too high
This height should never be above the bulge.
  5. Choose models with lots of support rather than comfortable
A more comfortable bra fits better at the breast than those with very thick or hard bumps. Ideally, choose a softer material.
  6. Wear the same bra with all kinds of clothes
It is a common mistake. But different models of sweaters or dresses order different models of bras. You must have the right parts.
  7. Wear the same bra two days in a row
Even if you love a bra, you need to let it rest between one day and another. This helps to make the elastic fibers firmer. It is also important to wash the piece with ice water.
  8. Wash bras with own products
Specific products to wash lingerie are not indicated as they leave the pieces too soft and this is bad because it ends with the firmness of the elastic.
  9. Wear a bra for a long time
The life span of a bra is around eight months. After that, it is very wide and no longer works as a support for the breasts. One tip is to have between six and seven pieces in the closet and take turns.
  10. Buy a bra that does not fit
Fitting in just a few aspects is no use. The piece must have a perfect trim.
