Favaloro University. It is a private Argentine university based in the City of Buenos Aires. This institution was a project of one of the most renowned surgeons, René Favaloro and was founded in 1992.
History
Favaloro University was born within a center of recognized international scientific reputation and a hospital that represents the culmination of the great legacy of Dr. René G. Favaloro, in response to the demand for new approaches in education. The objective of its study plans is to train a professional with a solid humanistic base and a thorough knowledge of the socioeconomic reality, who assimilates fundamental concepts, knows how to integrate them and then adapt their daily practice, based on scientific, technological And social.

Definitive recognition of Favaloro University
The National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation (CONEAU), in accordance with the results of the external evaluations, recommended to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, by Resolution No. 299/03, to confer the definitive recognition of the Favaloro University in the terms of article 65 of the Higher Education Law. For this reason, the President of the Nation signed Decree No. 963/03 of October 23, 2003, which grants such recognition. Favaloro University is proud to have reached this instance, which implies recognition of the institutional project that was inspired by its founder and teacher, Dr. René G. Favaloro. Likewise, the Rector’s Office of the Favaloro University and the Board of Directors of the Dr. René G. Favaloro University Foundation, thank the undergraduate and postgraduate students, their families, their graduates, the faculty, researchers and employees, the university community, public organizations and private institutions that at all times trusted and supported this higher education undertaking for the quality of our scientific-educational project. Favaloro University Creed
To exercise a profession without investigating is to condemn said profession to an exercise immobilized in time. But research without the scientific rigor guaranteed by the exercise of basic sciences is not always research, but undertaking adventures without guiding ideas and often incompatible with ethics. But investigating without educating not only betrays the essence of the creative act but also deprives future generations of the invaluable wealth of discovering their own creative potential.
